BLOCKBOOSTER
First organized in 1974, Blockbooster is one of the fraternity’s most enduring annual events. Born during the turbulent era of Martial Law, Blockbooster was created as a peaceful and fun way to unite freshman blocks through friendly competition. While the quiz show’s focus is on camaraderie, it has also gained a reputation for offering enticing prizes over the years.
Blockbooster challenges freshmen teams with questions about anything and everything under the sun, blending technical and general knowledge. With prizes reaching up to 20,000 PHP, the event is both thrilling and rewarding. Held every February at Melchor Hall, Blockbooster remains a much-anticipated event that brings together the brightest minds in the College of Engineering.
